Is PowerVest open source?
No. PowerVest is proprietary server software developed and owned by Secured Globe, Inc. Commercial source-code licensing is available under written terms.
Does PowerVest require cloud deployment?
No. PowerVest is designed for customer-controlled Windows infrastructure, including on-premises deployment.
What clients can use PowerVest?
Product-facing clients integrate through the SGClient layer—desktop applications, web-facing services, internal systems and administration tools.
Can it synchronize only changed data?
Yes. Database synchronization is designed around changed records and tables in a one-server-to-many-clients model.
Can files remain encrypted on the server?
Yes. Encrypted file services support protected transfer, storage and lifecycle tracking with server-side encryption.
Does it include software licensing?
Yes. Integrated Wizdome licensing supports server-backed device authorization and permitted-use controls.
Does the server run continuously?
Yes. PowerVest operates as a native Windows Service designed to start automatically and serve concurrent client requests.
Can customers modify the platform?
Commercial source-code licensing provides a path to review, adapt and maintain the backend under agreed terms.
Does PowerVest automatically create regulatory compliance?
No. Compliance depends on deployment, configuration, policies and operational controls—not software alone.
